No Score Draw

Cowden made it 3 games in a row without scoring as they failed to break down the Forfar rearguard. A tough game saw few clear cut chances for either side.

Cowden had to play most of the second half with only 10 men after Brian Fairbairn was given a straight red card for a tackle which was a harsh decision from the referee. Even with an extra man Forfar created few chances other than hitting the post once.

In the dying seconds John Gemmell had the chance of the match but Forfar keeper Brown made a stunning save to deny the big man and ensure that the Loons headed home with a point.

Next up is Annan. The Cowdenbeath Supporters Club bus to the match at Annan this Saturday will depart from Central Park at the earlier time of 10.15. With Annan being a new destination this season we have decided to travel down a bit earlier and make a day of it. A visit to a local hostelry may be arranged, there is also an excellent Social Club at the ground plus you can take the opportunity to have a look around the town they call 'the Queen of the Border'. Things have been tougher in recent matches for the Blue Brazil and as the leading pack enter the season's home straight the presence of every suppporter to cheer the team on away from home is vital, valued and very much needed. So once again, it's time to rally to the Cowden cause! Seats on the bus can be pre-booked by calling David Allan on 01383 724000 or e-mail daallan6754@aol.com
