Cowdenbeath 3-2 Airdrie Utd- Match Report

Moore gets Blue Brazil back to winning ways

Craig Moore scored a late winner as Cowdenbeath ended their four-game winless run with a 3-2 victory over struggling Airdrie.

The Miners made a very strong start to the game but it was the league's bottom club who drew first blood.

Airdrie striker Jordan Moore tucked the ball past goalkeeper Colin Stewart from close range in the 12th minute.

The hosts hit back less than 60 seconds later when Marc McKenzie slotted the ball into the back of the net from six yards out.

Cowdenbeath went ahead in the 68th minute when Greg Stewart tapped in from close range before substitute Jordan Kirkpatrick levelled from 20 yards out with eight minutes remaining.

However, home striker Craig Moore then scored for the third game running when he tapped in from close range in the 88th minute.
