Cowden slipped to defeat at Balmoor Stadium in a rather drab affair. The first half can only be described as awful as both teams struggled to do anything really. The start of the second half saw Cowden dominate and nearly score on numerous occassions - Paul McQuade had chances, the ball hit the bar after huge deflection. But typically enough it was Peterhead who scored out of nothing - Bavidge firing high into the net from 25 yards!
After that Cowden didnt do enough to merit a goal.
Poor is all I can say!
