Cowdenbeath slipped to a 3-1 defeat in the final league game of the season. A much changed Cowden team gave debuts to some youth players and gave fringe players a run out.
Cowden took the lead through John Dempster before John Armstrong saw red right on half time for a professional foul. Cowden looked to be hanging on until Alloa scored with 15 minutes to go - they went on to add 2 more before the end.
