Cowdenbeath under 19's progressed into the last 16 of the youth cup after a 5-1 victory over Peterhead. First team player John Ferguson scored a brace while Chris King, Martyn Robinson and Steven Bennett all scored once.
In the next round Cowden have been drawn away to Livingston under 19's who are coached by former Cowden manager Brian Welsh. A grudge clash!
The youth team has brought many first team players through recently - Scott Linton, Jon Robertson and Danny Mackay are all regular starters and a couple of years back Stephen Husband was sold to Hearts after impressing for the first team.
