Cowdenbeath V Alloa at Central Park - Match Preview

Robertson back for Blue Brazil

Cowdenbeath have Jon Robertson available for their home game against Alloa after the midfielder recovered from a toe injury.

David Cowan and Kane Hemmings are both doubtful for the Blue Brazil after illness earlier in the week, with player-manager Colin Cameron looking for his side to pick up their fourth home win in five games.

Cameron said: "We are at home and facing a side that like us are part-time, so we should be looking for the win.

"Alloa made a very good start in this league following their promotion. However, we have the incentive of pulling level with them if we win this one so we will go for it."

Alloa welcome back defender Jason Marr for the trip to Central Park to give manager Paul Hartley a full squad to choose from.

Hartley is looking for his men to build on a professional performance against Inverurie Loco in the William Hill Scottish Cup last Saturday.

He said: "It was a tie we were expected to win but the players deserve credit for the patient way they went about getting a 3-0 win.

"We kept a clean sheet which was important and I am now looking for us to build on it and get a win at a difficult venue and on a pitch that will be very heavy."
