Cowdenbeath manager Danny Lennon has been rewarded for his teams fantastic form with the October Manager of the Month award after a stunning month were Cowden picked up 13 out of 15 points with wins against Arbroath (1-0), East Fife (2-1), Peterhead (5-0) and Stenhousemuir (2-0) as well as a goalless draw against Brechin City.

Also receiving an award was winger Brian Fairbairn - the goal he scored versus East Fife was the first goal scored with the new Irn Bru footballs.  Congrats to Frankie!

Cowdens next game is a home game v Dumbarton.  The sides met earlier this season on September 19th (the editor of the websites birthday!) as Cowden ran out comfertable 3-0 winners through goals from McBride (2) and Wardlaw. Since then both sides have been on fine form and this Saturdays game at Central Park is shaping up to be a cracker!
